Personal Coaching Styles Inventory (PCSI)

Coaching with Style - 1 Day Program

Adding insight to communication

Communication … connection … understanding … commitment … results!

Effective coaching relies on effective communication: both coach and coachee must be “on the same wavelength…”

Understanding communication styles is the key.

  • Coaches: communicate more effectively for outstanding results
  • Trainers: add a sophisticated yet straightforward training product to your portfolio
  • Leaders and Managers: Connect more successfully with your team

“Using the PCSI enhances understanding of self. In this way it contributes to developing a deeper understanding and trust between coach and coachee. It helps coaches identify where to stretch and challenge coachees outside their comfort zone.”

(Shana Ring, Leadership and Learning, SaskPower Human Resources)

The Personal Coaching Styles Inventory (PCSI) is a one-day workshop package that coaches trainers, leaders, and consultants can use to boost the effectiveness of coaching conversations.

One-day masterclass

A masterclass in the one-day PCSI program, the core of which is a self-scored communication style inventory.

The inventory identifies four principal communication style traits and explains why and how these natural tendencies influence behaviour and interaction during coaching conversations. With an understanding of these styles, coaches can better tailor their communications to suit individual and team needs. Effective communication occurs more readily and openly, creating an atmosphere of cooperation and achievement.

The PCSI package is intended for coaches, trainers, consultants, facilitators or managers, and includes a detailed facilitator guide, plus a participant workbook and PCSI booklet. The materials are for open sale, and licensing by a CCU facilitator is not required.

What is the Personal Coaching Styles Inventory : Coaching with Style

The Personal Coaching Styles Inventory boosts the effectiveness of performance related interpersonal communication. With a deeper understanding of styles, leaders and coaches learn to flex their styles to support colleagues, clients and customers.

What The Personal Coaching Style Inventory does

The PCSI identifies four principal communication style traits and explains why these natural tendencies influence how people behave and interact during coaching conversations. With an understanding of these styles, leader-coaches can better tailor their communications to suit individual and team needs. Effective communication occurs more readily and openly, creating an atmosphere of cooperation and achievement.

As a result of participating in this program participants will have a practical tool to assess the impact of communication style conflicts and synergies both one-on-one and in team coaching. The workshop equips coaches to “flex” their communication style for more productive interactions.
